The 12th in the Hypervelocity Impact Symposium series, HVIS 2012 will be held at the Hyatt Regency, Baltimore from Sept. 16-20, 2012 .

The Hypervelocity Impact Symposium (HVIS) is a biennial event organized by the Hypervelocity Impact Society that is dedicated to enabling and promoting an understanding of the basic physics of high-velocity impact and related technical areas.
