This theme leverages our cross-cutting research initiatives (CCRI) and spans all research areas (RAs) and focus areas (FAs).[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;5450&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; onclick=&#8221;custom_link&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221; link=&#8221;https:\/\/hemi.jhu.edu\/mseeura\/research-strategy\/&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>RESEARCH ACTIVITIES<\/h4>\n<p>Currently, the MSEE URA program examines four main research areas: (1) Material Properties and Failure, (2) Materials and Manufacturing for Synergistic Effects, (3) Chemistry in Extreme Environments, and (4) Photon-Material Interactions.
