{"id":6708,"date":"2023-04-12T16:17:34","date_gmt":"2023-04-12T20:17:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hemi.jhu.edu\/mseeura\/?p=6708"},"modified":"2023-04-13T10:42:47","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T14:42:47","slug":"msee-researchers-visit-devcom-cbc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hemi.jhu.edu\/mseeura\/msee-researchers-visit-devcom-cbc\/","title":{"rendered":"MSEE Researchers Visit DEVCOM CBC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Fall of 2022, members of the MSEE community including PIs, postdocs, DTRA, and GCAP partners visited the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM CBC) in Edgewood, MD to participate in technical discussions and tour DEVCOM CBC\u2019s facilities. The visit was attended by multiple CBC researchers; the US Army&#8217;s Senior Research Scientist for Chemistry, Dr. Patricia McDaniel; and CBC\u2019s Director of Research and Technology, Dr. Frederick Cox.<\/p>\n<p>One of CBC\u2019s researchers, Ms. Amee Polk, is pursuing her Doctorate of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.
