Specimen Preparation (Malone G42)
The specimen preparation area in Malone G42 features the following:
- Leica TIC 3X Ion Beam Milling System
- Allied High Tech High Speed Saw
- Allied High Tech Multiprep Polisher
Electron Microscopy (Malone G38)
The electron microscopy room in Malone G38 features the following:
- Tescan Mira 3 GM Scanning Electron Microscope
- SEM (with Oxford Instruments Symmetry 1 EBSD Detector or EDAX EDS Detector)
Other Analytical Equipment (Malone G41)
Malone G41 houses the following equipment:
- Keyence VHX-X1 Z-Stacking Optical Microscope
- Malvern Morphologi 4 – Automated Particle Imaging System
- Nanomechanics iNano Nanoindenter
