Polymers CMRG
Consortium Lead: Prof. Giuseppe Palmese (Drexel)
ARL Lead: Dr. James Snyder
The Polymers CMRG coordinates and oversees all research within the MEDE CRA on polymers, and particularly on UHMW polyethylene as a model polymer fiber.
Experimental CTRG: The Polymers Experimental CTRG focuses on advanced experimental techniques, advanced characterization techniques and in situ methods through both discovery experiments and integrative experiments on UHMW PE.
Modeling CTRG: The Polymers Modeling CTRG focuses on advanced multiscale modeling and simulation techniques as applied to UHMW PE, as well as new approaches to bridging the scales, with an emphasis on the incorporation of mechanisms and the validation of the models at every scale.
Processing CTRG: The Polymers Processing CTRG focuses on the design and execution of synthesis and processing routes for UHMW PE.
Meeting Groups
These meetings are open to all students, postdocs, PIs, and ARL collaborators from each of the polymers tasks.
Remote Access: Please refer to JH Box for information on how to access CMRG meetings and for materials related to these meetings. If you do not have access to JH Box, please contact Katie Vaught at [email protected] to gain access.
