Enterprise for Multiscale Research of Materials Hosts Research Management Board at JHU

On January 6th, The Army Research Laboratory and the Department of the Army co-chaired a review of the Enterprise for Multiscale Research of Materials (EMRM) on JHU’s campus.  The Enterprise consists of protection, electronic and energetic materials programs.  The protection materials program is led by JHU within the Center for Materials in Extreme Dynamic Environments, located in the Hopkins Extreme Materials Institute.  The programs were reviewed by a research management board composed of senior members from theNational Science Foundation, Army Research Laboratory, Office of Naval Research and the Office of the Secretary of Defense.  President Ronald Daniels provided the opening remarks, and event was attended by 117 researchers and students from 22 academic and government institutions.
