Professor KT Ramesh will be conducting a 2 day short course on “Developing and Writing Technical Proposals” on January 19-20th.
The course is open to all postdocs of HEMI faculty members (with permission of their advisors), as well as any interested faculty and research faculty or research scientists. However, enrollment will be limited because of the nature of the course. Examples of prior successful proposals will be provided. Participants should expect to have to do some homework on the evening of the first day. Participants are expected to have chosen a target funding agency, other than NIH, before they come to the course (materials from the HEMI 2014 Funding Agencies and Proposal Development workshop may be used to do this).
Please bring a laptop to the workshop.
Lunch and refreshments will be served.
Monday: 9am-5pm
Tuesday: 8am-1pm * time change (bring your own lunch on this day if you wish)
