Stop letting Powerpoint be the boss of your presentations! In this three hour workshop, you will learn how to apply the basic principles of design and visual communication to your presentations and help audiences connect to your content in a meaningful way. We will review how to design effective and memorable presentations using original graphics and found imagery as well as the best design practices for presentations and the major visual design blunders to avoid. Pro Tip: Filling a slide with text and then reading your audience the text on your slide is considered a torture device in some cultures.
Please bring a laptop with adobe illustrator installed and an active google account to participate fully in this workshop. All other materials and lunch will be provided.
The workshop will be lead by Prof. Jenna Frye. More information to come!
