Current MICA full-time faculty and part-time faculty who have taught nine credits per academic year for the past two consecutive years are eligible to apply for this semester in residence.
Award
The total budget request for this semester in residence may not exceed $15,000. The semester in residence (and its fee) is based on an assumption that this commitment is part-time and equivalent to one day of work per week for the semester. Budget line items can include, but are not limited to: MICA faculty compensation, materials, supplies, course release/replacement costs, etc. It is expected that all artist/designer work will be performed by the selected MICA faculty member. The final budget is subject to negotiations between MICA and JHU.
