We are pleased to announce that HEMI will host the Research and Engineering Apprenticeship Program (REAP) again in summer 2018. Created by the US Army Educational Outreach Program, REAP is a Science Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) program that places talented high-school students from groups that are historically under-represented and underserved in research apprenticeships at US colleges and universities. REAP apprentices work on a hands-on research project under the direct supervision of a mentor, exposing them to the real world of research and allowing them to learn about educational and career opportunities in STEM.
Registration for the upcoming session (Summer 2018) is now open! For more information and to apply, click here.
