I just started simulating the 3-point bending test of Boron carbide (B4C) using the geometry and material properties given by Andrew Leong. Some of the fracture properties are not accurately determined. I will try to use average values for those parameters based on data available in literature.

According to our last talk, I am thinking that we need to consider the strain rate effect on the fracture behavior of the material as well. I am going to study some papers about this effect.
