On June 29, 2017, the HEMI leadership hosted a luncheon for the students participating in summer internships within the Institute.  Internships with local universities include the Extreme Science with Morgan State University and the Extreme Arts with the Maryland Institute College of Art.  Additionally, students from two Army Educational Outreach Programs, the Research and Engineering Apprenticeship and the Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship attended as well.  The luncheon provided the opportunity for the students to describe their summer research project and to ask questions of the HEMI leadership.  The luncheon also included a presentation by Nilam Sari, an Extreme Arts intern.

HEMI hosts a number of internship opportunities as well as other academic programs.  More information on these academic programs is available at https://hemi.jhu.edu/academic-programs/
