Earlier this month, HEMI staff members Phyllis Sevik (Research Service Manager) and Scott McGhee (Senior Administrative Manager) led an advanced session during the National Council of University Research Administrators annual Financial Research Administration Conference.
Their session, titled “How to Manage a Department of Defense (DoD) Collaborative Research Alliance (CRA),” addressed the ins and outs of what a CRA is and how the university research administrative and financial staff manages one. Using the MEDE Collaborative Research Alliance as an example, Sevik and McGhee shared valuable information and firsthand knowledge to their group.
