Thank you to Prof. Natalia Drichko for leading the colloquium “Strongly Correlated and Magnetic Materials with Structural Disorder: Raman Scattering Study.”The colloquium discussed her research in matter physics, specifically with materials where interactions between electrons lead to insulating behaviors at low temperatures and magnetically ordered state for Mott insulators, as well as how Raman scattering is used to understand these occurrences.
