Thank you to Prof. Mahadevan for leading the short course “Uncertainty Quantification” this past week. The course examined how uncertainty impacts models created, and how these uncertainties impact the confidence in these models. Dr. Mahadevan then presented ways to approach the uncertainties and address them in data collection as they arise.
