- Attended the Mach conference;
- I realize that I need more reading on the granular material topic; there are already some models already in published papers, which I think is helpful in giving me directions of modeling.
- I prepared the plate impact demo with Meng during weekend, feeling comfortable with manipulating the laser interferometer and all the steps. I think I can handle the experiment on my own.
- I need to figure out what my plate looks like; there are some parameters to be determined: the thickness of the plate, the initial density, and the steps to assemble the specimen sandwich. This is the part I should work on first.
