1. HEMI seed grant: Worked on the proposal with Jaafar for the HEMI seed grant. The objective is using MD to explain our experimental observation indicating multiple twin variants nucleation at higher strain rate.
2. Laboratory Wide Written Proposal (LLNL): Worked with Jefferson at LLNL on Laboratory Wide Written Proposal . The main motivation is to get funding to continue using the beam line at Lawrence Berkley. The title of proposal is “Damage characterization of meteorites under mechanical and thermal load via in-situ X-ray Computed Tomography”. If successful we get about ~100k for two years.
